The laboratory will be instructed to analyze on a standard 5 -business -day
laboratory turnaround time. The proposed laboratory analyses for soil and groundwater
samples are as follows:
o Fuel oxygenates (EPA Method 8260B)
o BTEX compounds (EPA Method 8260B)
o Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline (EPA Method 8260B)
o TPH-diesel and TPH-motor oil (EPA Method 801513)
o Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (EPA Method 8270)
A soil samples will be collected at depth of 3 feet from each environmental boring. Figure 1 shows the proposed
sampling locations.
• The borings will be filled with grout upon completion of sampling, in accordance with County
requirements.
ENGEO will obtain two drilling permits from San Joaquin County, one for environmental
borings and one for geotechnical borings.
=2012-21111112-242—i Til
After compiling and reviewing the collected data, we will prepare a written report. The report will
document the services performed and the findings of the assessment.
We will complete the draft report for review within 3 to 4 weeks of receiving the laboratory data.
We will provide you with updates and keep you informed of our findings and recommendations
throughout the project.
FEE
We propose to perform the above-described services on a time -and -expense basis in accordance
with our current fee schedule as summarized below.
