Caltrans is requiring the pavement be
replaced and possibly soil excavated from under the pavement when it is pulled up. This work may not happen for
another 3-5 weeks depending on the schedule of the contractor. We have also changed response contractors. Patriot
Environmental Services handled the emergency response and excavation of the 10 drums on the day of the
response. Ancon Services handled the backfilling yesterday and will oversee the pavement replacement and soil
excavation if needed.
Would you prefer to have a report submitted with the ER work once we receive the documentation from Patriot and
then a second report once the asphalt work is completed? Or would you prefer that we hold all of the information and
submit one compiled report to you?
There are three photos attached to give you an idea of the work to date until the report is submitted.
Thank you,
Michelle Cortes
Environmental Specialist
Custard Insurance Adjusters
3145 Avalon Ridge Place
Suite 300
Peachtree Corners, GA 30071
Office: (678) 287-5463
Cell: (912) 667-4294
Fax: (770) 209-8854
www.custard.com
1
