Three additional <br />groundwater monitoring wells are proposed in the following locations; between MW3 and the Thornton <br />Municipal Supply Well No. 2; approximately 90 feet south of MW3 and 50 feet southeast of MW2; <br />approximately 60 feet southwest of IVIW2. The purpose of the additional wells is to help define the lateral <br />extent of the groundwater contamination associated with the above referenced site. <br />Your consultant, Resna Industries/WaterWork Corporation, has requested San Joaquin County, Public Health <br />Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) concurrence on the proposed well locations. Based on <br />the map provided by WaterWork, and PHS/EHD site visits, it appears that the proposed well locations are <br />the best possible locations. Of course, this preliminary determination cannot be validated without analytical <br />data, but given current information, these are appropriate well locations. <br />Field work may begin upon receipt and issuance of drilling permit application, applicable fees, and access <br />agreements. Please submit these items by September 16, 1991.
