Glasscock Rd, Lodi
APN 025-030-04, SR0083469
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate
Loading (SSNL) Study, dated March 17, 2021 for the above noted location, and has the following comments
for your consideration.
The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater treatment
system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater for the following proposed
mobile home.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
a. Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage for future development on the proposed parcels, pursuant to San Joaquin
County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
b. Percolation test conducted on March 1, 2021 yield percolation rate of 10.0 min/inch. At this rate, an
8' soil separation is required between bottom of dispersal field and the groundwater. Groundwater
encountered during February 28, 2020 excavation was at 6.3 feet below surface. (San Joaquin
County OWTS Standard Section 1.10.2). The soil separation shall be demonstrated to EHD inspector
at the time of inspection.
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Senior Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3018.
t5a*o_
Steven Shih, REHS
Program Coordinator
c: LiveOak
1868 E.
