COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br /> 9:15 am <br /> 9:00 am <br />Time Out: <br />Time In: <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: PODESTOS MARKET & BAKERY Date: 04/19/2021 <br />Address: 6725 PACIFIC AVE, STOCKTON 95207 <br />Owner/Operator: Telephone: (209) 951-0234 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: CO0053690 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT WENT TO DELI ON MONDAY APRIL 5TH, 2021 AT AROUND 4PM OBSERVED EMPLOYEE REACH <br />INTO THE CONTAINER OF AVOCADO WITH BARE HAND AND PROCEED TO SPREAD IT ON SANDWICH WITH <br />BARE HAND, BOUGHT IT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE MANAGER. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Spoke to owner who was not aware of this complaint. He stated that they use whole/ sliced avocados for their sandwiches. <br />Slices are placed on sandwiches with clean hands. Gloves are usually not used. <br />Observations: all of the hand wash stations are provided with necessary supplies for proper hand washing. Did not observed <br />mashed up avocados at their sandwich prep line. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
