Development of structure of joint project between San Joaquin County and CalTrans — to <br />be determined. <br />5. Conceptual design for joint project submitted to regulatory agencies based on completed <br />refuse delineation and selected remediation method — completed four weeks after <br />delineation is complete and remediation method selected. <br />6. Review comments by regulatory agencies received — per regulatory agencies. <br />7. Incorporation of comments and preparation of Closure Plan and cost estimate, and <br />Postclosure Maintenance Plan and cost estimate — six weeks (normally, the <br />Closure/Postclosure Maintenance Plan is approved before beginning detailed design for <br />construction). <br />8. Acceptance Closure Plan and Postclosure Maintenance Plan by regulatory agencies as <br />complete — 30 days (Title 27 Section 21860 (c)). <br />9. Review of accepted -as -complete Closure Plan and Postclosure Maintenance Plan by <br />regulatory agencies — up to 120 days (Title 27 Section 21860(e)). <br />10. Incorporation of review comments and re -submittal to regulatory agencies — three weeks <br />but dependent on the number of comments received. <br />11. Review of revised Closure Plan and Postclosure Maintenance Plan — per regulatory <br />agencies. <br />12. Preparation of construction documents based on approved Closure Plan and submittal of <br />these documents to regulatory agencies — four weeks. <br />13. Review by regulatory agencies — to be determined. <br />14. Incorporation of regulatory agency review comments — two weeks, but dependent on the <br />number of comments received. <br />15. Review of bid package by Public Works Design Division — two weeks. <br />16. Incorporation of Design Division review comments — two weeks. <br />17. Completion of bid package, placing bid on San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors' <br />meeting agenda, request for bids first advertised — three weeks. <br />18. Bid period — one month. <br />19. Receipt of bids, contract issues resolved, Notice to Proceed issued — one month. <br />20. On-site construction — to be determined, up to two months. <br />
