E. Driller shall select drilling methods according to the depth of the wells <br /> specified. <br /> F. Do not use drilling muds or liquids. <br /> G Coordinate drilling with the Engineer to maintain a detailed written log <br /> showing the materials encountered at each depth, depth of each boring <br /> drilled, and the time required for drilling. Borings will be logged during the <br /> entire drilling session by the Engineer. <br /> H. Uncompleted Borings: <br /> 1. Provide secure, vandal-proof covers and apply safety precautions for <br /> all uncompleted borings. <br /> 2. Measure and record depth of uncompleted borings left overnight <br /> prior to commencement of drilling on next day. Redrill collapsed <br /> borings at no additional cost to Owner. <br /> I. Distribute spoils in the vicinity of boring. <br /> J During drilling and well construction, all debris shall be disposed of in a <br /> contractor provided container, or removed from the site, and the site left in a <br /> neat and orderly condition on a daily basis. <br /> 3.04 ABONDONED BORINGS <br /> A. If impenetrable obstructions are encountered during drilling, cease drilling <br /> and promptly notify the Engineer. The Engineer will determine whether to <br /> abandon or to complete the well at the achieved depth. <br /> B. Borings not completed as soil gas monitoring wells shall be backfilled with <br /> cement slurry. <br /> 3.05 SOIL GAS WELL PROBE ASSEMBLY <br /> A. Insertion of sampling tubing: <br /> 1.
