E <br />v <br />Mr. Todd Del Frate -2- <br />ADJUSTMENT OF EVALUATION MONITORING PLAN AT CORRAL HOLLOW <br />SANITARY LANDFILL <br />ā€¢ Install four LFG extraction wells near the landfill property boundary. The wells will be <br />drilled to the bottom of the refuse where the wells are installed, but not less than 20 <br />feet below the surface of the adjacent property where refuse was found. <br />Connect these wells to the existing LFG header, and exert the maximum influence on <br />the refuse feasible from the refuse in the adjacent property. <br />Monitor the existing and new groundwater wells after the LFG collection from the <br />property boundary is underway, to assess the effect of this increase in corrective <br />action. Postpone the other work until the effect of the increase in corrective action is <br />known. <br />I believe this approach is consistent with Section 20430 of Title 27 CCR section <br />"Discharger -Initiated Corrective Action Program Changes". Please consider this .letter an <br />amendment to our Report of Waste Discharge, making the appropriate changes in the <br />Corrective Action Plan for this site. <br />I hope this meets with your approval.
