All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS: No Throw rope on Life ring. Provide a throw rope immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Pool Deck. Maintain pool decking area. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete orlike material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br /> top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br /> diving board,ADA device, or slide.(CBC 3114B)Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br /> OBSERVATIONS: No Test kid on site. Provide a chemical test kit on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine,pH, and <br /> cyanuric acid(if used)at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br /> type. Chlorine test kits shall be capable of testing for free and total chlorine, so that combined chlorine concentrations can be determined. <br /> (CCR 65529) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS: No Daily Log on Site. Keep daily records of Chlorine and PH , CYA on sit. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm.
