All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Low Free Chlorine level. Provide acceptable range between 2ppm to 10ppm. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations.,3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.
