All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine at Oppm. Facility corrected violation by adding 2 gallons of 10% hyperchlorite. Maintain <br /> pool between 2-1Oppm. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.(CCR 65529) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Maintain daily pool log. Start today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.(CCR 65523) <br /> #16 Water Clarity <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Pool is not clear. Correct today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the <br /> pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck.(CCR 65527) <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Build-up on pool shell. Clean today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interiortmish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br /> and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency.
