All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine at 0.2ppm. Maintain chlorine between 2-10ppm. Correct prior to opening. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.(CCR 65529) #12 pH Level MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: pH at 7.0. Maintain pH between 7.2-7.8. Correct prior opening. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.(CCR 65530) #16 Water Clarity MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: Unable to see the bottom of the pool. Keep closed until corrected. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck.(CCR 65527) #1 Pool Gates OBSERVATIONS:Pool gate open prior to inspection, keep closed. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION., Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closingself-latching devices. Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool area except where otherwise prohibited bylaw. (CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well maintained. (CCR 65535) #3 Safety Signs OBSERVATIONS:Closed sign must be on exterior side of gate. Correct today. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Pool operatorshall keep safety signs well maintained.(CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole, gate, or similar permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.
