The EHD has reviewed the submittals and <br /> has the following comments: <br /> Extension of Closure Cap,Corral Hollow Landfill,Technical Specification: <br /> 1. Division 2, Site Work, Section 02200, Site Earthwork,Part 3—Execution, 3.07—Disposal of <br /> Excavated materials. <br /> Shaw Environmental,hie made the following statement: "Materials excavated from the site shall be <br /> used as earthfill for construction of various features including site grading, or stockpiled at locations <br /> designated by the Engineer." <br /> Excavated materials to be used as earthfill shall not contain glass, ash,or garbage which are <br /> considered solid waste and shall be moved from the site for proper disposal. <br /> 2. Division 2, Site Work, Section 02776,Landfill Gas Extraction Wells,Part I —General, 1.01 — <br /> Summary. <br /> The Health and Safety Plan for the entire project is missing.Provide the Health and Safety Plan to the <br /> EHD for review and approval.The Health and Safety Plan must be approved by the EHD 30 days <br /> prior to any site activities. <br />
