Comments on revised design for landfill cover extension.
Good afternoon Joyesh,
1. We need the site Health and Safety plan to address all people that
will be onsite. It has to cover all the people onsite (contractors, sub
contractors, EHD staff...). Any other people working onsite or those that may come
onsite will have to comply with the Health and Safety Plan. The Health
and Safety Plan must be approved by the EHD 30 days prior to any site
activities.
2. Shaw Environmental, Inc made the following statement: "Materials
excavated from the site shall be used as earth-fill for construction of
various features including site grading, or stockpiled at locations
designated by the Engineer." (Appendix 1, Division 2, Section 02200-9, Part 3, Section
3.08(A)
(1) - Stockpiling of Excavated Materials).
Excavated materials to be used as earth-fill shall not contain glass,
ash, or garbage which are considered solid waste and shall be moved from
the site for proper disposal.
Thank you
Natalia Subbotnikova, Senior RENS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E Hazelton Ave
Stockton, CA 95205
(209) 468-0338
From: Joyesh Chandra [mailto:Jchandra@sjgov.org]
Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2012 11:25 AM
To: Robert McClellon [EH]
12/18/2012
