Board staff believes that implementation of best management practices <br /> (BMPs) regarding collection, conveyance, and discharge of storm water away from underlying <br /> refuse may improve shallow groundwater quality currently impacted by Volatile Organic <br /> Compounds (VOCs). The BMPs are outlined in the enclosed inspection report.
