If the boring has collapsed, then <br />the Contractor shall re -drill the boring at no additional cost to the <br />County. <br />1 If impenetrable obstructions are encountered during drilling, the Contractor <br />shall cease drilling and promptly notify the Engineer. The Engineer will <br />determine whether to abandon or to complete the well to the specified <br />depth. <br />2 Abandoned borings shall be backfilled with neat cement within two days. <br />3 Contractor shall backfill abaondoned borinrings with neat cement in the <br />presence of the EHD inspector. <br />A Engineer will provide the Contractor with dimensions of the probe pipes and <br />perforated sections prior to installation. <br />B The initial total probe pipe length shall be a minimum of two feet longer than <br />the length indicated by the Engineer. <br />C Contractor shall complete assembly of the probe pipe with the perforated <br />sections per the dimensions provided by the Engineer. <br />D Contractor shall maintain the probe pipe identification throughout the work. <br />Accurate probe pipe labeling is of the essence.
