Drainage was found to be good, especially after the
work done in the Landfill Closure Cap Extension Project. One problem was discovered:
the inlet of a cross -road culvert had been blocked by soil and debris. This inlet was
cleared and restored to working order. Please see the attached photographs
documenting this inspection and repair.
Because the Monitoring and Reporting Program requires that this report document
inspection performed before September 30, this Report does not include the brief but
intense storm in November 2013. This storm caused some erosion of the closure cover
which we are presently correcting. We will document this erosion and its correction in
our Fourth Quarter and Annual Groundwater and Surface Water Monitoring Report, due
at the end of January 2014.
I certify under penalty of law that I have personally examined and am familiar with the
information submitted in this document and all attachments and that, based on my
inquiry of those individuals immediately responsible for obtaining the information, I
believe that the information is true, accurate, and complete. I am aware that there are
significant penalties for submitting false information, including the possibility of fine and
imprisonment.
