All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to Califomia Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: No sign. The following is not provided. 31208.11 Diarrhea. A sign in letters at least 1 inch (25 mm) high <br />and in a language or diagram that is clearly stated shall be posted at the entrance area of a public pool which states that <br />persons having currently active diarrhea or who have had active diarrhea within the previous 14 days shall not be allowed to <br />enter the pool water. <br />Provide by today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operatorshall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: The water needs to be hyperchlorinated to 30 ppm 13 hours. Make sure the chlorine is between 3 ppm <br />to 10 ppm before the feature is put back in use. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Combined chlorine is at 1.5 ppm. Adjust to .4 ppm or below. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin.
