AutoZone#2858, 1100 N Wilson Way, Stockton, CA Record ID PR0514453
4/21/2021 CUPA— Hazardous Waste
PHOTO#2
Violation 106: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that employees who handle hazardous waste were
properly trained. When Sokny Tek, Store Manager, was asked how chemical retail product spills in the store are cleaned up, Sokny stated that absorbent
is applied to the spill to clean it up and then the used absorbent is placed inside the facility's used absorbent drum. However, the facility's used absorbent
drum is labeled as containing used absorbent and paper filters containing oil, and Autozone's Safety, Health, and Environmental Manual 19.4 states that
absorbent used to clean up oil or antifreeze spills is to be placed in the absorbent collection drum, while absorbent used to clean up chemical spills is to be
placed in the appropriate Bucket Program bucket along with the leaking chemical product, if any.
HAZARDOUS
WASTE
STATE & FEDERAL LAIN PROHIBITS IMPROPER DISPOSAL
IF F4lJND,CONTACT THE NEAREST POLIO oil PUBLIC SAFETY
AUTKOHITY,bR THE U-S.ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONAGENCY
OR THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT of TOXIC SUSSTANCFS Ci7NTRDt
GENERATOR INFORMATION:
NAME AUTOZONE#211
AUL]RESS t14o h1OftTl-IIVVI LSON WAY r2RB13t2- 2
City STOCK%fl PHONE
STATE QIP 95203143
EPA /MANIFEST
ID mn, 'MACIQNG NC).
