Hazardous Materials Release Response Plans and Inventory [25500 - 25547.8] <br />ARTICLE 1. Business and Area Plans [25500 - 25519] <br />25501. Unless the context indicates otherwise, the following definitions govern the construction of this article: <br />(l) “Handle” means all of the following: <br />(1) (A) To use, generate, process, produce, package, treat, store, emit, discharge, or dispose of a hazardous <br />material in any fashion. <br />(B) For purposes of subparagraph (A), “store” does not include the storage of hazardous materials incidental to <br />transportation, as defined in Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations, with regard to the inventory requirements <br />of Section 25506. <br />Title 49, Subtitle B, Chapter I, Subchapter A, Part 105, Subpart A – Definitions: Transports or Transportation means <br />the movement of property and loading, unloading, or storage incidental to the movement.
