Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105
COMPLAINT ID: C00053542 Site Location: 2169 E FOURTH ST
Activity Summary
Activity Date Recorded by
03/31/2021 The owner Mr. Jacobson came in to discuss the situation at the property with me. SUSZYCKI
He told me that the person living behind the shed is is a
friend of his tenant and was allowed on the property yhim. ording to Mr.
Jacobson s also an aggressive felon and has had the Sheriff called on him
multiple times.
I explained to Mr. Jacobson that I could do a Notice to Vacate but that would
require starting a housing case. Mr. Jacobson did not want to do this and said that
he would attempt to have the cops move him on Friday 4/2.
I gave Mr. Jacobson the number to Fair Housing and told him that he may need to
find an eviction lawyer.
04/09/2021 Spoke to Mr. Jacobson at the counter. He said that he has been unsuccessful in SUSZYCKI
removing the man from the shed and wants me to red tag it. I told him that I would
put the complaint on the Community Service Team and that I should be out there
on 4/15 in the morning.
04/14/2021 Spoke to Mr. Jacobson and told him that CST was canceled. He still wanted me to SUSZYCKI
go out if I could and said that he would be their with a friend inc ase anything were
to get out of control. I told him that if I don't feel comfortable I will put it on team for
next week but I would meet him at the property on 4/15 at 1000.
04/15/2021 Arrived at the property and met with the owner. He gave me access to the shed SUSZYCKI
behind the single family dwelling in the front yard.
The shed was in very rough condition with an extension cord running to it. There
was an older extension cord next to it that was cut and had appeared to have been
partially melted.
The occupant of the shed did not speak English so I called Yvonne to translate
and inform if that he needed to be out of the shed by midnight. The man stated
that he understood and went back inside the shed.
The shed was posted with a Notice to Vacate and a Notice and Order to Abate.
See PR0546683.
04/20/2021 Abated the complaint to PR0546683. Turned the complaint in for review. SUSZYCKI
5105.rpt
