Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
RE: Marlowe Properties
4630-4698 E. Waterloo Road
Dear Ms. Hinson:
Thank you for the candid and detailed meeting that we
had on 10-20-93. I appreciate the comprehensive and
informative report with which I was provided and
recognize the considerable time and effort which was
involved in compiling the information. I would also
like to thank Mr. Valinoti for taking the time to join
us. I certainly believe that I am much clearer about
the direction your department wishes us to take. I
plan to engage a consultant who has particular
expertise in HVOC investigation and remediation to
assist us in dealing with the complexities of the
subject problem. As I indicated, the project which is
now our top priority is getting the water main
extended to our property by California Water Service.
Barring any unforeseen delays, this should be
accomplished by the end of the year. In the mean
time, we expect shortly to receive Geological Audit
Service's report on the installation of the two
additional monitoring wells. I will be reviewing
these results with Mary Meays.
As I understood from Mr. Valinoti, your department was
prepared to withdraw invoices which had been generated
in our name by your investigation efforts. I have
enclosed the two invoices which we have received to
date for your consideration. They are Invoice #003769
in the amount of $1,411.80 and Invoice #005024 in the
amount of $600.00. I also recollect that you
indicated that you might be able to locate some of the
permits for septic tank installations along Wilcox
Road. If these are available, I would very much
appreciate receiving copies of them.
Once again, thank you for a most productive meeting. I
look forward to working with you to the satisfactory
resolution of this problem.
Sincerely yours,
AKZ/A--
onat an Marlowe
