Box 2009 • (1601 East Hazelton Avenue) • Stockton, California 95201 <br />(209) 468-3400 <br />DAVID POULSEN <br />AEGIS ENVIRONMENTAL <br />1050 MELODY LANE STE 160 <br />ROSEVILLE CA 95678 <br />RE: Waterloo Shell <br />4315 Waterloo Road <br />Stockton, CA <br />001" 2 1 1993 <br />San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has <br />recently reviewed the "Pre Tank Replacement Site Assessment Results Report" prepared <br />by Aegis Environmental, dated March 20, 1990, for the above referenced site. <br />The analytical results of the soil samples obtained during the drilling of borings SB-6, SB-10, <br />and SB-12 indicate low levels of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination existed at 10 to 20 <br />feet below grade. No further investigation is required at this time. When the existing tanks <br />and piping are removed, soil samples will be obtained and analyzed. The need for further <br />investigation will be determined by the results of those soil samples. <br />In addition) a review of our underground storage tank file revealed the results of the soil <br />sample obtained during removal of the waste oil tank has never been submitted to <br />(PHS/EHD). Pursuant to the California Code of Regulations Title 23, Division 3, Chapter <br />16, Section 2652(d), these results must be submitted to PHS/EHD.
