The
sample was collected with the City present to verify. A slurry of the sludge and the
liquid from the tank was collected. The City refused to accept based on the amount of
VOCs in the sample. The procedure that I intend to use for emptying the tank is to treat
the waste with the bleach and then have your vacuum truck empty it while I hose it
clean and completely rinse the tank.
I'm estimating 1,000 gallons of waste
I use 13% chlorine bleach, household bleach is 6%
The last formula CH gave me was 1 gal 13% bleach to 35 gallons waste (that's a lot)
Using the 13% bleach what ratio do they want me to use this time?
Regards,
Christopher R.
