Conduct an initial survey <br />of the area to determine if the plants are present in the work area, and avoid contact with them. <br />If plants are located and work must be conducted in that area, have the plants removed if possible. <br />If this is not possible, wear long sleeved shirts, gloves, and a heavy material type pants. Remember <br />not to touch contaminated clothing.
