An <br />inspection was performed that day with Air Pollution Control District, and City of Lathrop Fire <br />Department and the EHD. The inspection revealed indications of burning of waste, burying of waste and <br />hazardous waste storage on the property. The contents of some of the storage containers were found to be <br />leaking. <br />Violation: This is a violation of Health and Safety Code §25189.5 — Disposal of hazardous waste at <br />an unauthorized point. <br />Corrective Action: The EHD is referring the oversight of the investigation and cleanup to the <br />Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board (CVRWQCB). Please contact Tim Miles of DTSC at (916) 255-3710 to determine <br />proper oversight. <br />A "Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge" report was filed with the DTSC and the CVRWQCB <br />pursuant to Health and Safety Code §25180.7.
