KLEINFELDER & ASSO(CIAT
File: S-1008-21/12 : 317
June 26, 1986
Page 5
Comments:
7. The proposed sampling program is acceptable. What quality
control/quality assurance procedures are proposed?
Response:
To document the effectiveness of the field and laboratory
protocols for generating accurate, meaningful , and
reproducible data, the general approach is to submit blind
samples which include blanks, spikes, and duplicate to the
laboratory for analysis. It is recommended that the water
sampling program include blind duplicate samples, spikes,
and/or blanks for approximately 15% of the sample sites. it
is suggested blank and/or spike samples be prepared and
submitted for analysis, identified as if they were from a
site well .
At the time of our meeting you thought the above
satisfactorily addresses the RC B comments. If you have any
other comments or questions please feel free to call.
Sincerely,
J. H. KLEINFELDER & ASSOCIATES
Anne Marie Collins
ProjecVHydrologist
Kent E.
