The County submitted a Landfill Gas <br /> Monitoring Plan to the California Integrated Waste Management <br /> Board (CIWMB) on March 6, 1991. We received comments from the <br /> CIWMB on April 11, 1991. The County amended the plan according <br /> to the comments and resubmitted on May 17, 1991. <br /> The County is prepared to proceed with installation of the gas <br /> monitoring system. However, to date the County has not received <br /> written approval from the CIWMB or your agency for installation <br /> of the gas monitoring system. The County hereby requests written <br /> approval prior to installation of the system. The system will be <br /> installed within two weeks of receipt of written approval.
