BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> R-91--%6 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N <br /> RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> AND MITIGATION MONITORING PLAN FOR THE <br /> HARNEY LANE SANITARY LANDFILL CLOSURE PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> requires that a project must be reviewed with respect to <br /> potential significant affects on the environment prior to <br /> approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, an Initial Study, as required by CEQA, has been <br /> completed for the proposed Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill Closure <br /> Project, and a Negative Declaration has been prepared based upon <br /> the finding that the Project will not have a significant affect <br /> on the environment; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Supplemental Negative Declaration has been <br /> prepared in response to comments received; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Mitigation monitoring and Implementation Schedule <br /> have been developed to monitor and report the progress of the <br /> mitigation measures over the next thirty years ( 30 ) as identified <br /> in the Initial Study; and <br /> WHEREAS, a public review period, as required by CEQA, has <br /> been completed, including the publications of a "Notice of Intent <br /> to Adopt a Negative Declaration" and a "Notice of Intent to Adopt <br /> a Negative Declaration - Supplemental Negative Declaration" . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Negative <br /> Declaration, Supplemental Negative Declaration, Mitigation <br /> Monitoring and Implementation Schedule for the Harney Lane <br /> Sanitary Landfill Closure Project be and hereby are adopted. <br />
