The order of operation will follow the numbered sequence given to
each area on the Winter Plan. Area 1 will be filled first where
upon completion the filling operation will begin in Area 2 . The pad covers an extensive area
and provides sufficient maneuverability for vehicle travel and
unloading operations.
The access road to the winter pad was overlaid with asphalt
concrete in the summer of 1987 and is in fair condition. This
roadway shown on the plan is wide enough to allow for two-way
traffic and will be used by site customers to access the winter
pad.
III. DRAINAGE
Drainage for the site will be provided by perimeter ditches which
terminate in a detention basin to the south of the landfill. This
detention basin is used to store storm water which is then pumped
at a slow rate to South Paddy Creek.
