Harprit S. Mattu [EH]
From: Robert McClellon [EH]
Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2017 1:27 PM
To: Harprit S. Mattu [EH]
Subject: FW: Site Survey
Attachments: 20170214120902466.pdf
FYI
From: Sam Monaco [mailto:smonaco@harvestpower.com]
Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2017 12:02 PM
To: Robert McClellon [EH]
Subject: Site Survey
Robert,
As a follow up to our discussion, please find attached the surveys conducted on 1/31/17 at our Lathrop facility. Due to
the excessive rains since mid-December, as well as the continued forecast for more rain, we are struggling to ship
outbound material to our agricultural customers as the trucks cannot get into the fields to deliver. We have several
thousand tons that need to be delivered that we simply can't get to the fields. Just to inform you, we have acquired
another grinder to speed up the grinding process and have hired to full time sales representatives to maximize the
outbound movement and balance the site. We've been diverting material to our Tulare facility and will continue to do
so until the site is in balance.
I'd like for you to know that we take compliance as a very serious issue and are working diligently to ship out volumes to
bring the site back into balance. You can see in the attached reports that the volumes have been reduced on site since
December from 79,000 yards over the max to 39,000 yards over the max. I can assure you we are making every effort
possible and am confident this will be resolved as soon as the weather breaks. You had mentioned that you would like
the site in compliance by February 22"d, but due to all the mitigating circumstances we will not be able to meet that
deadline. I am respectfully requesting an extension with adequate time to meet your requirements. I'd be happy to
meet in person to discuss, or please feel free to contact me at your convenience. I'd like to thank you in advance for
your consideration.
Thank you,
SAM MONACO I HARVEST POWER
Senior Vice President, West
(o) 559.435.1114 1 (c) 559.903.2220
(f) 559.435.1007
6943 N.
