HARVEST`
January 11, 2017
Harprit S. Mattu
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 E. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205-6232
RE: SWIS Facility Number 39 -AA -0051, Harvest Power Lathrop
Dear Mr. Mattu,
This letter is in response to the request made of your office on 12/9/16 during an inspection of
our facility located at 920 W. Frewert Rd., Lathrop, CA 95330, to submit a written plan outlying
the steps that Harvest Power has, and will be taking to comply with the regulation to
incorporate received materials into the windrows within 72 hours of receipt.
• Harvest Power is renting a grinder for the next few weeks to run in conjunction with our
existing grinder on site to get caught up on the backlog.
• In the longterm, Harvest Power will be purchasing a second grinder for the site in order
to ensure we can process material within 72 hours of receipt.
Harvest Power wants to confirm our commitment to resolving this issue with the Environmental
Health Department. We will continue to work on catching up with the backlog of material and
are confident that we will be able to comply with the 72 hour rule on an ongoing basis. If you
have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Sam Monaco
Senior Vice President
Phone: (559) 435-1114
Email: smonaco@harvestpower.com
6943 N.
