Box 388 A Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> oo <br /> -) <br /> DON MORRIS <br /> DONS BUGGY SHOP <br /> 3245 N WILSON WAY <br /> STOCKTON CA 95205 <br /> MAR 2 s 1994 <br /> RE: DONS BUGGY SHOP SITE CODE: 9242 <br /> 3245 N WILSON WAY <br /> STOCKTON CA <br /> A recent site visit by a San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD) representative has revealed the following. <br /> The purpose of the site visit was to observe trenching in the area of the former septic tank area to <br /> investigate any possible impact to the soil from the effluent from the former septic tank that had been <br /> used to accept waste from the facility operations. <br /> The majority of the area in the back of the facility had been previously excavated to destroy the septic <br /> tank, to install an oil-water separator, and to connect the facility to the public sewer system. The area <br /> investigated was trenched in the backfill area from the previous work. However, the native soil from <br /> underneath this previously disturbed soil was observed and no visual or olfactory evidence of <br /> contamination was evident. <br /> Therefore, as there is no documented soil contamination from operation of the septic system and based on <br /> the recent field observations by PHS/EHD staff, this site has been removed from the local contaminated <br /> database. <br /> If you have any questions or comments regarding this letter please contact Linda Turkatte, Senior REHS, <br /> of my staff at (209) 468-3441. <br /> Ernest M.
