Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Provide written notification to ustr7a si4ov.orq to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Corrosion protection: Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to <br /> backfilling. <br /> b. Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic test (or <br /> equivalent), after concrete is set. Proper drainage must also be verified. <br /> c. Since concrete will be broken near the 87 tank, a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the 87 tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer's <br /> guidelines. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 tank prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br /> 4. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications: <br /> a. Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid, <br /> current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be issued <br /> to the installation company), or a Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board <br /> b. Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid, current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC) <br /> 1868 E.
