applicant obtain an information package. Compliance with the SJMSCP shall be required prior to <br /> issuance of any grading or building permits. <br /> 5. SOUTH SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY FIRE AUTHORITY (Contact[209] 831-6707) <br /> a. Prior to construction, the applicant shall submit construction documents to the South San Joaquin <br /> County Fire Authority for review and approval: <br /> 1. Construction documents shall be designed to the current edition of the California Code of <br /> Regulations, Title 24, as amended by San Joaquin County Municipal Code. <br /> 2. Specify occupancy classifications, type of construction, use and square footage of each <br /> structure to be build. Each structure will have its own Fire Permit. <br /> 3. Fire protection systems are dependent on occupancy and shall be installed in accordance with <br /> the California Fire Code, as amended by the San Joaquin County Municipal Code. <br /> 4. Deferred submittals shall be listed on the coversheet of each page. Each deferred submittal <br /> shall be submitted, reviewed and approved by SSJCFA prior to installation. <br /> 5. If proposed,fire protection water supply must be submitted separately from construction permit. <br /> All piping and installation shall be in accordance with CFC Section 507 & NFPA standards. <br /> 6. If proposed,fire sprinklers shall be designed by a licensed fire protection contractor or engineer. <br /> Hydraulic calculations, specifications and plans shall be submitted prior to issuance of a <br /> building permit. <br /> 7. Provide a truck turning template which clearly shows the truck turning radius of 29 feet-9 inches <br /> inside and 47 feet-7 inches outside. Truck turning template shall show all ingress and egress <br /> paths available. <br /> b. Applications received by our offices are subject to the current fee schedule for South San Joaquin <br /> County Fire Authority. <br /> 1. Application processing fees and minimum plan review fees are due at the time of submittal of <br /> construction documents <br /> 2. Additional plan review fees, minimum inspection fees and administrative fees are calculated <br /> on approval of project and shall be paid prior to issuance of permit. <br /> 3. Permit holder is responsible for any additional inspection fees incurred, and shall be paid prior <br /> to final inspection. <br /> c. Prior to occupancy of new business, the tenant shall contact SSJCFA for a new business <br /> inspection. Additional fees may be required for New Business, Annual and Operational Fire <br /> Permits. All fees shall be paid prior to approval of inspection. <br /> d. Prior to construction, all-weather fire apparatus access roads shall be installed. Fire apparatus <br /> access roads during construction shall have a minimum 20 foot unobstructed width in accordance <br /> with CFC Section 503. <br /> e. All hydrants shall be installed, inspected and tested prior to bringing combustible materials onsite, <br /> including storage. <br /> f. Knox boxes shall be required for all buildings and gates. The operator of the building shall <br /> immediately notify the Fire Authority and provide the new key where a lock is changed or rekeyed. <br /> The key to such shall be secured in the key box. <br /> Planning Commission Staff Report, PA-1800316 (UP) 8 <br /> Conditions of Approval <br />
