Attachment Q <br /> Plugging and Abandonment Plan <br /> Victor Fine Foods Deep Injection Well #1 <br /> Plugging and abandonment of the injection well will be done approximately in the follow- <br /> ing manner: <br /> 1. Move in and rig up abandonment rig. Remove wellhead tree, then install and ac- <br /> tivate Blowout Prevention Equipment (BOPE). Unseat packer and pull 4-1/2 inch <br /> tubing and packer from the hole. <br /> 2. Make: a bailer run to check for fill. The depth of fill should be at least 50 feet below <br /> the casing shoe. Injection waste fluids will be flushed out of the injection casing by <br /> injecting sufficient freshwater into the well. <br /> 3. Run in hole with 4-1/2 inch tubing and 2-7/8 inch tubing stinger to the top of fill. <br /> 4. Cement well from bottom to top with common portland cement/sand mix, withdrawing <br /> the tubing strings in stages as the cement is pumped in. <br /> 5. Remove BOPE and lay down and move off rig. <br /> 6. Cut off wellhead and weld a steel plate 3/8-inch thick to cap off inner casing (7 inch). <br /> The ground will be leveled and an abandonment marker posted with pertinent well in- <br /> formation. <br /> 7. Cost estimate at effective date of this permit: $20,000 <br /> 24 <br />
