Timmons <br /> P 0 Box 553 <br /> Lathrop, CA 95330 <br /> RE: U-78-65 E/s Harlan Rd. , N/Schilling, Lathrop <br /> The San Joaquin County Soard of Zoning Adjustment has approved the Use Permit <br /> Application identified above. A condition of this approval was compliance with the <br /> following San Joaquin Local Health District requirements: <br /> 1 . The shelter for the dogs should be constructed in such a manner as to be easily <br /> accessible for cleaning and servicing. <br /> ? Interior halls of the shelter and associated maintenance room should be easily <br /> cleanable finish, preferably of painted plaster or concrete. <br /> 3. The shelter floor ad the immediate feeding area within pens or dog runs shall be <br /> smooth concrete, coved on edges and graded toward a floor drain leading to legal <br /> sewage disposal facilities. <br /> 4. The remainder of each pen or dog run may be smooth earthpack, perferable covered <br /> with pea gravel to a depth of three inches. <br /> 5. A convenient water supply and legal waste water didposal facilities shall be <br /> available for washing food ,reparation equipment, bathing of animals , as well as <br /> washing dovin shelters and pens or dog runs. <br /> 6. Animal food will be stored and fed in a manner which will not attract or serve <br /> as harborage or brdeding site for flies or rodents. <br /> 7. Applicant shall demonstrate to the satisfaction of the health District that he <br /> has appropriate facilities and means for daily cleaning and disposal of dog droppings <br /> from pens or shelter without creating a nuisance. Acceptable disposal includes <br /> wrapping in two (2) layers of paper and depositinq in garbage can, burial under 18" <br /> tight soil , or flushing into sewer. <br /> Since the completion of the requirements of the San Joaquin Local Health District is <br /> a condition of your Use Permit, it is necessary that these requirements be met prior <br /> to the utilization of your property for the approved use. The Registered Sanitarian <br /> will check for compliance with the above listed items within the next thirty (30) <br /> days unless notified differently. <br /> JACK J.
