i
i
Section 2
i SITE DESCRIPTION
iThe Lathrop Gas Dehydrator Station is located in San Joaquin County, approximately 6 miles northeast of
Tracy, near the intersection of Willow Glen and Undine Roads. The station is owned by PG&E and
occupies an area of approximately one-third acre which is flat and covered with gravel fill. The properties
to the north, south, east and west of the dehydrator station are used for agricultural farmland and orchards.
iThe facility is unmanned and has been used for odorizing and removing production fluids in the natural gas
since the 1960's. The reboiler unit, however, has not been operated since 1989.
The Lathrop Gas Dehydrator lies at an elevation of approximately 10 feet above MSL in the San Joaquin
delta. The Middle River, located approximately 1,200 feet to the west of the site, is the nearest surface
water body(Figure 1).
1
l
l
l
l
l
l
l
1 oca 03/10/95 08:19 AM(0688brpt.doc/ntw12) 2-1
