San Joaquin Street PERMIT/SERVICES
P.O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Re: Work plan review for PG&E's Lathrop Dehydrator Station
Dear Ms. Hinson:
Enclosed for your review and approval is a site characterization work plan entitled
"Work Plan, Subsurface Investigation, PG&E Lathrop Gas Dehydrator Station".
The purpose of the work plan is to further define the vertical and lateral extent of
petroleum hydrocarbons in the subsurface soils at the site and to determine if
groundwater in the uppermost water bearing unit is impacted.
Field activities will involve approximately six to nine exploratory soil borings on the
site and one groundwater monitoring well. The activity is scheduled for the last
week in October and your prompt review of the work plan is appreciated.
With this letter I would like to confirm that San Joaquin County Public Health
Services, Environmental Health Division will be providing oversight on this site
until we are notified otherwise.
Should you have any questions regarding this work plan please contact Darrell
Kingman at (510)866-5883 or myself at (510)746-4242.
Sincerely,
et- /-1',-
Ernie Lee
Gas Engineer
EFL:sj
cc: Antonia Vorster w/ Attachment
Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board
3443 Rouiter Road
Sacramento, CA 95827-3098
Darrell Kingman
