The pertinent permit records provided to us were as follows: <br /> • Various permit applications for storage and dispensing of gasoline at 1000 East <br /> Channel Street, Production Chemical Manufacturing. <br /> • Various per,nit applications for handling, dispensing, and storage of a flammable <br /> liquid at 930 East Miner Avenue (Bockmon & Womble Electric). Removal of an <br /> underground gasoline storage tank and installation of a new'tank in July 1983. <br /> Removal of the tank in November 1993. <br /> • Removal of an. underground gasoline storage tank at 936 East Weber Avenue(SPTQ <br /> Al <br /> in August 1979, The tank was located at the southeast corner of the okl Railway <br /> Express building on the south side of Webcr Avenue. 1 <br /> t <br /> Underground storage tanks at Production Chemical and Bockmon& Womble Electric were discussed j <br /> previously. The tank that was located at the old Railway Express building was a I000-gallon gasoline <br /> tank apparently installed in 1961_ The pennit does not indicate the condition of the tank or <br /> sUrrounding soil when removed. <br /> City of Stockton Building Department <br /> 13ui(diklg permit records were reviewed at the City of Stockton..for the project site between the years <br /> of 1922 and 1492_ Record of permitted structures were reviewed to attempt to identify past structures <br /> (trot previously identified) which may suggest activities typically associated with the use,generation, <br /> storage, treatment, or disposal of hazardous materials. No such items other than those previously <br /> identified were found. <br /> Interviews <br /> 4 <br /> Union Pacific Railroad Company (UPR) <br /> 4 <br /> Environmental records for the site,historical and site lease information, and SPTC's Structure Record ' <br /> Indices and Maps were requested from UPR. Station. Maps and Structure Record indices were <br /> s <br /> provided for the site.
