We are pleased that combustible gas has not been detected in any foundation vents,
indicating that LFG is not migrating to those structures. All migration monitoring probes, with exception
of GW-3D, are below regulatory limits for combustible gas. SCS Field Services will continue to monitor
those vents weekly, along with the three soil gas monitoring wells adjacent to the migrant labor housing
facility.
We continue to aggressively collect LFG,having increased the collection rate from approximately
260 cfin to 350 cfin, with the additional flow being drawn from the portion of the landfill where migration
is indicated. We hope to soon bring the concentration of combustible gas at probe GW-3D to below
5 percent, however,we are preparing to install an additional LFG extraction well near GW-3.
If you have any questions, please contact me at extension 8-3066.
Sincerely,
W.
