Based on this evaluation of the data against the QC objectives,the percentages of valid <br /> data for each method and matrix are as follow. <br /> Completeness (%) <br /> COC Water Soil <br /> TPHc --- 100 <br /> TPHd 100 --- <br /> TPHdsg 82 --- <br /> TPHg 91 --- <br /> BTEX 82 100 <br /> PAHs 100 100 <br /> The completeness for TPHdsg,TPHg, and BTEX in groundwater was not 100%due to sample results that <br /> were rejected for LCS/LCSD%Recoveries and sample pH levels, as described in the preceding sections. <br /> However,the overall completeness exceeds the project goal of 95%, and sufficient valid data were <br /> generated to use for their intended purposes. <br /> Comparability <br /> Based on the data evaluation, it was concluded that the data are comparable with other laboratory data for <br /> similar samples and sample conditions. The sample collection techniques,EPA test methods, detection <br /> limits, analytical laboratory(Lancaster),units of measure, and sample preparation procedures were <br /> selected to ensure data comparability. <br /> Summary <br /> Based on SAIC's evaluation, all analytical data that have not been rejected are usable as qualified for the <br /> purpose of determining COC concentrations in groundwater at the site. Rejected data should not be used <br /> for direct comparison to the action levels. <br /> Because low LCS/LCSD percent recoveries demonstrate a low bias, and because laboratory results are <br /> non-detectable concentrations above the action level, indicating possible false negatives,the results for <br /> TPHdsg were rejected for the following groundwater samples: <br /> • SB-22-W-35-050517; and <br /> • SB-23-W-35-050518. <br /> In addition,the following groundwater sample results were rejected,because they were not preserved <br /> within the required conditions: <br /> • TPHg in sample SB-22-W-35-050517; and <br /> C-3 From Science to Solutions- <br />
