The site consists of two separate
properties - the north portion is referred to as the Bellini (former Roberts) property and the south portion,
the Arcos property.
You have proposed the following tasks for the investigation:
• Advance soil borings at eight downgradient locations and one soil boring upgradient of existing
monitoring wells and/or former boring locations; collect soil and groundwater samples for
analysis to delineate the extent of impacted soil and groundwater. Up to five contingency step-out
borings are proposed if impacted soil is encountered in the original borings.
• Advance borings for installation of five monitoring wells, one upgradient and four downgradient
locations.
• Initiate and conduct quarterly groundwater monitoring for a minimum of four consecutive
quarters using the four existing wells and the five proposed wells that will be installed.
• Conduct a search of Department of Water Resources (DWR) records to detennine if there are
domestic, municipal, irrigation, or other production wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the site.
California Environmental Protection Agency
ea Recycled Paper
