Permittee shall physically inspect f <br /> the work site and locate survey monuments prior to work commencement. Monuments <br /> shall be referenced or reset in accordance with Business and Professions Code. <br /> A pre job conference with the Permittee; Contractor, and State Representative may be <br /> required prior to start of work. Permittee shall contact the State Representative and <br /> arrange the meeting. This meeting may be waived at the discretion of the State <br /> Representative. <br /> Notwithstanding General Provision #4, your contractor is required to apply for and <br /> obtain an encroachment permit prior to start of work. <br /> Permittee shall, prior to commencement of any work, provide the State Representative # <br /> with the name and phone number of the person in responsible charge of the work to <br /> be performed under this permit. <br /> Traffic control shall be done in conformance with Caltrans Manual of Traffic <br /> Controls 1996. <br /> In addition to General Provision 35, "Notification of department and TMC", the ' <br /> Permittee shall notify the Department's Representative AND THE <br /> TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT CENTER (TMC) immediately prior to initiating <br /> any traffic control and immediately upon the removal of any traffic controls. The <br /> telephone number for Caltrans District 10 TMC is (209) 948-7556. <br /> This permit is not valid until Permittee has obtained permission from adjacent property <br /> owners, Irrigation Districts, Cities, Counties or other interested parties to perform the <br /> proposed work. <br /> i <br /> Except when necessary, as determined by the State Representative, no installation, <br /> construction equipment or personal vehicles shall operate or park within the traveled <br /> way. <br /> In addition to the attached General Provisions, the following special provisions are also <br /> applicable for installation and monitoring of groundwater monitoring wells: <br /> 1.
