Appendix E.1:Data Usability Summary <br /> Comparability <br /> Comparability is defined as the confidence with which one data set can be evaluated against <br /> another. The data evaluation indicated that the data are comparable with other laboratory data <br /> for similar samples and sample conditions. The sample collection techniques, EPA test methods, <br /> detection limits, analytical laboratory,units of measure, and sample preparation procedures were <br /> selected to ensure data comparability between sampling events. <br /> SUMMARY <br /> SAIC's evaluation concluded that all analytical data are usable as qualified for the purpose of <br /> determining chemical concentrations in soil and groundwater collected at the US Can—Welty <br /> Road site in Vernalis, California. <br /> Data evaluated for this report were qualified J for results reported between the laboratory's MDL <br /> and LOQ. Data were qualified E for results associated with CCV %Ds, method blank <br /> contamination, equipment/field blank contamination, MS/MSD recoveries, internal standards, <br /> field duplicate precision, and loss of resolution.
