4.2 Groundwater Anal tical Results
Groundwater samples were analyzed in accordance with U.S. EPA Methods
8260A(low level) and 8010/8020_ Analytical results are summarized in Table 4-1. Copies of the
® field data sheets are in Appendix D and the chain-of-custody and analytical reports are in
® Appendix E.
TCE was not detected in any of the samples (Figure 4-1). Benzene was detected
in the deeper sample at CPT-2 and the shallower sample at CPT-3 at 0.5 and 0.4 µg/L,
respectively, Toluene was not detected in any of the samples. A concentration of 2.4 mg/L of
cis-l,2-dichloroethene was detected in the shallow sample at CPT-3.
Based on a quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) evaluation of the analytical
data, ethylbenzene and xylenes (total) by U.S. EPA Method 8010/8020, and isoproplylbenzene, n-
® propylbenzene, sec-butylbenzene, and naphthalene reported by U.S. EPA Method 8260A are
'j regarded as non-detects. A QA/QC evaluation is presented in Section 5.0.
35275 Welty Road,Vematis 10 ]vAarch 1997
t
