[}e18U8d coDlOn8nts, provided in the enclosed rnarnor8OdUrn. <br /> are summarized below, <br /> Based OO the findings, Central Valley VV8t8r Board staff concurred in 8 20 April 2011 letter to Chevron, <br /> that crude oil affected soil and groundwater had been delineated, adequate monitoring data had been <br /> collected and o Screening Evaluation could be prepared. <br /> 8A\{}`s Report determined that the potential onsite residential c8Ooar risk from possible Or8|, derDl8|. <br /> inhalation exposures to onsite soils is within the range of risk management. G/\|Cindicated the risk <br /> eStiOl@1B is conservative, and 8C1U8| risks are believed to be much \ovva[ According to the Report the <br /> exposure to petroleum hydrocarbons in shallow soil at the Site, should not result in an unacceptable <br /> health risk for 8nadult orchild resident. <br /> The consultant queried the 2O11California Natural Diversity Database maintained bythe California <br /> Department of Fish and Game to search for threatened, endangered, or sensitive species in the vicinity <br /> nfthe Site. The database identified six threatened or endangered species in the surrounding vicinity. <br /> There were DO ooCu[TeDCaS within one-mile of the 3h8� the C\oa8St was the sighting of G 8woinSOn`a <br /> H8vVk, 8pprOXinn8t8\y 1.6 miles from the Site. 8A|C S1o1ad based on this information, a threat to <br /> sensitive ecological receptors does not appear tOexist. <br /> SAIC concluded that no remedial action is necessary to protect human health or ecological receptors, <br /> and that a risk management decision of no further action required determination could be made. <br /> ~,°=, c­en,:c <br />
