Method 8260A, identification and quantitation of compounds is based on retention time and the <br /> ' mass to charge ratio of ions. <br /> Many aliphatic compounds were noted on the chromatograms for the project <br /> ® samples. These compounds can act as interferents and produce false positive results when using <br /> U.S. EPA Method 801018020. The reported results for U.S. EPA Method 8010/8020 that were <br /> not confirmed by U.S. EPA Method 8260 are qualified as non-detect.
