GEOMATRIX
typical OVP samples. Based on site observations and discussions with the property manager,
the area where this sample was collected is located adjacent to a fortner gasoline station; it is
likely that the detected constituents are related to this off-site source.
Based on the data presented herein, Geomatrix concludes that the lateral and vertical extent of
petroleum hydrocarbon-affected soil on the subject property has been assessed and the residual
OVP petroleum in soil at the Welty Road site is not a significant source of dissolved petroleum
constituents to groundwater. No TCE has been detected in deeper soil samples or shallow
groundwater. Geomatrix concludes that site characterization is complete.
1
r
IADOC SA.M5000S\53S0\SOIL GW RP'r.DOC ES-2
