HEALTH AND SAFETY PROGRAM <br /> Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.proposes the following health and safety precautions which are appropriate <br /> working on sites where workers may come in contact with hazardous waste or hazardous materials. <br /> I. Get onto Highway 99 heading north. <br /> 2. Exit at Yosemite Avenue about 1.5 miles north of Woodward Avenue. <br /> 3. Travel approximately l/ ffi of a mile west and turn right onto Cottage Avenue <br /> 4. Travel 118 h of a mile north,turn right and then make a left onto the grounds of Doctor's Hospital of <br /> Manteca. <br /> II. Workers Health and Safety Protocols <br /> Work Space Safety <br /> The perimeter of the work space should, if possible,be 20 feet from the activity. All work performed in <br /> publicly accessible areas will have a working perimeter to be marked by brightly colored delineators. No <br /> unauthorized personnel will be allowed access into the work space. The project supervisor will coordinate all <br /> field activities and maintain the safest possible working environment at all times. If an emergency occurs,the <br /> supervisor will immediately contact the proper authorities(listed above) <br /> Skin and Head Protection <br /> Disposable suits,hardhats.boots,and gloves will be worn when the working conditions require such <br /> precautions. In any case,boots and hardhats will be used at all times. <br /> Respiratory Protection <br /> Half face respirators will be available for use should the situation warrant their use. If these are not adequate <br /> protection for conditions experienced,the site will be closed until appropriate respiratory protection is obtained. <br /> If greater than half face respirators are needed a second health and safety plan will be submitted to the county <br /> with additional safety protocols outlined in the plan. <br />
